This 70 years old hunting lodge, now called as Sawai Madopur Lodge
has history attached with it, as it has been hunting lodge for Maharajahs of
Rajasthan in bygone days. Today, owned and managed by the Taj Hotels Resorts
Palaces, the eco lodge is undoubtedly one of the best place to stay and
explore the rich cultural and biological significance of Ranthambore.
Located close to the Ranthambore National Park, Sawai Madhopur Vacation
Lodge is just 20 minutes drive from the park. The resort as well as the park
fall in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan. Sawai Madhopur lying in the
Delhi-Mumbai rail line is halt to many express trains plying daily is the
nearest railway station (10 km). Jaipur is the nearest airport, which is 182
km far from the lodge. Jaipur is very well connected to all major airports
