Detailed Itinerary
Love the serenity of Kochi beach and Munnar tea garden
Cochin - Munnar ( From day 1st to day 3rd )
Your houseboat vacations will start from Cochin. As you land at the airport in the night, our representative will be there to comfort you with their warm welcome. You will be transferred to the hotel where you will be staying overnight. Wherever you visit, we will take our utmost care while making you hotels available of your choice. As you will arrive late in the night, staying at hotel will be a great comfort to you as you will be prepared enough tomorrow to explore the city in full spirit.

In the morning of 2nd day, you will start your backwater vacation by taking a sightseeing tour of Cochin. Cochin with a world of palms and thrilling waves is said to be the “Queen of the Arabian Sea”. One whole day visit to the city will enable you to explore all important places like St. Francis Church, Vasco House, Santa Cruz Brasilica, Bolghatty Palace, Dutch Palace, and Palliport Fort.

The best thing that will strike you with its amazing view will be the Chinese Fishing Nets. These nets are believed to be introduced first by Chinese ruler Kublai Khan. You will be seeing the stretch of these nets on the coast line of Fort Kochi and Vypeen. A stroll through the Fort Kochi Beach will be a pleasant experience for you while having sumptuous cuisine which is sold at the several stalls.

After you have relished the pleasant sea view of Fort Kochi Beach, your evening will be much more pleasant with the visit of Marine Drive. Tramping at the shore of backwater and watching the backwater dotted with boats, commercial ships, passenger ships, and speed boats will be an evening giving you some peaceness out of the clamorous city life. After you have visited the city, you must be feeling tired. To suck out all your tiredness, we would be arranging a bonfire for you. You will love sitting around the hearth and savouring the barbecue with your inmates. Overnight, you will be staying at hotel.
Munnar Tea Garden
On the next morning (3rd day) you will drive to Munnar. Munnar is just 15 Km from Cochin, and is a famous hill station. Munnar is one of the sought after tourist destination in South India having rich tea plantation area, forests, hills and valleys. With its beautiful landscape, this place also attract couples to enjoy the honeymoon. You will visit here the pleasant places like Kannimalai Estate, Chinnar, and Marayoor. The Eravikulam National Park is just close to the Munnar. We will make sure that you don't leave the opportunity to visit the park. This park houses Nilgiri Tahr, one of the rarest kind of Mountain Goat.

After you have encountered with the wildlife at Eravilulam Park, you will move to Athukad Falls which will give you a better acquaintance with the backwater of Kerala. Athukad is a majestic cascade surrounded by exquisite greenery. If you are not tired, you will be moving a bit further, and will visit to Cheeyapara Falls having a height of approx 500 feet which is a very popular bathing spot. By the evening, you will be finishing your romance with Cheeyapara fall, and will reach to the hotel. And next moment, you will be packing your bags for your next sojourn at Periyar. Soon, you will be driving to Periyar which will take you almost three and a half hour. After you reach at Periyar, a resort having camping facility will be booked for you. After getting freshen up at resort, you will come to the garden where we will be arranging camp for you. You will have a bundle of fun while being around the bonfire, and enjoying the barbecue. After the fun is over, you will be sleeping in the tent which will be a unique experiences in itself.

Thrill of Tiger hunt and peaceness of Backwater - Together as one
Periyar- Alleppey ( Day 4th, 5th, and 6th)
In the morning (4th day), you will be on visit to the Wildlife Sanctuary at Periyar. The best way to visit the park is through taking boat ride. Boat ride in the Periyar lake will let you go through the several isle which serves as habitat of many animals. Wildlife photographer will have a reason to smile as boat ride will enable them to take snapshots of numerous animals in their natural habitats

After noon, you will be visiting to Manas, an old village housing tribals. Being at the tribal village will present to you a kind of dejavu as it will yield you plenty of insights of their behaviour and living manners and standards. You can watch their dance, and can even dance with them. If you wish to learn making some of their dishes, they will be happy teaching you their acumen of cooking. After coming from the village, rest of the evening and night, you will be spending at houseboat. The twilight moment after the sunset will be something you will love to view while being at the houseboat.

Elephants in Periyar Next day (5th day), you will be on Tiger trail tour in the core of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary for the whole day, you will be on expedition to spot Tigers in the park. Roaming through the dense forest and getting mere a glimpse of Tiger will leave no opportunity to yield you goose pimples. That is why only persons between 15 - 45 can indulge in Tiger spotting activity. While being in the group, you would be hearing several Tiger stories which will include funny and thrilling as well. When you have finished your Tiger search and have captured them in different poses in your camera and handycam, you will be moving back to the houseboat. You will again be enjoying the extremely placid evening on the boat, and overnight, you will be staying at houseboat after having sumptuous dinner.
On the 6th day, in the morning, you will be leaving for Alleppey. It is the place which will let you enjoy utmost your houseboat vacation. After you reach Alleppey, you will board a house boat which will let you explore the Kerala backwater.

The still lagoon will welcome you with palm trees lining on the shore. Watching the daily activity of the villagers will enrich your curiosity. The Chinese Fishing Nets set in the shore, and fishermen gliding slowly on the water, bunch of ducks swimming nearby the bank, birds chirping in the sky - all together presents a very pleasant picturesque worth to mesmerise you.

You will stuck to the deck watching the splendid scenery of backwater and taking sun bath. As you take your lunch, you will reach at Punnamada lake. This is the place where every year world famous boat race is organised. Cruising through the Vembanad lake will unfold a very panoramic view of the backwater full of peace and tranquility. In the evening, you will visit the paddy fields. It will give you better insight of the village life of Kerala as you will have opportunity to interact with the local villagers and will know well their daily activities. To enjoy the houseboat vacation in its full circle, you will again be staying overnight at the houseboat.

Wake up in the houseboat listening to the chirp of birds
Kumarakom - Cochin
(Day 7th and 8th)
When you get up next morning, the dawn period with its peaceness of backwater and chirping of birds will ope a pleasant view for you. It will be 7th day of your Kerala Tour. After you have freshen up, you will be moving to Kumarakom where its bird's sanctuary will be waiting for you to be explored and loved with its stark hushness churning due to bird's chirping.
Keral House Boat
Spread across 14 acres and situated on the bank of Vembanad lake, this bird sanctuary houses plenteous birds including migratory birds like Siberian Stork, Egret, Darter, Heron, and etc. The main attraction of the sanctuary are birds like Water Fowl, Cuckoo, Owl, Egret, Water Duck, Parrots, Larks, Flycatchers and sevearl others. Taking water cruise at the lake will give you the best possible panoramic view of the sanctuary. You should make sure that you are carrying your camera and binocular - the two thing that you will need most.

After you have taken full visit to the sanctuary, some interesting activity will be awaiting you in the evening. We will be arranging a cookery classes for you under the guidance of a expert chef. He will be teaching you to cook famous South Indian food which you will be cooking yourself there. Along with your companions, you will taste your own food served on the banana leaf. In the evening, if you are not feeling tired you can go for shop. The nearby market in Kumarakom will let you buy several accessories including famous Eco-friendly coir. Again, overnight you will be staying at the houseboat. As it will be the last night of your houseboat vacation, we will make you sure that you enjoy the night very much. You will be served the best South Indian dishes. After the dinner, you can come to the deck and feel the stark stillness of the water while twinkling stars and moonlight will make it to gleam.

When you wake up next morning, panoramic and exquisite view of the milieu will let you feel being in the tender lap of nature. It will be the 8th and last day of your houseboat vacation. After you have taken your breakfast, you will be leaving the houseboat and will drive to Cochin in air conditioned coach. While taking the glimpse of all natural landscapes you encountered, you will have numerous fondling memories to cherish.

After you have reached Cochin, we will transfer you to the hotel where you will fresh up, and will pack your luggage. We will be serving you the last meal of your tour at the hotel. According to the schedule of your flight, our representative will transfer you to the airport where you will fly to your onward destination.
