Himalayan Jeep Safari expedition will cater you to explore a splendid
mixture of natural beauty and adventurous thrill of Himalayas. Our tour will
take you to discover the Himalayan places like Nainital, Pangot, Chaukori,
Munsiyari, Ranikhet and Corbett. These places will be a great fun to you
while exploring the greatest gift of nature.

Detailed Itinerary
Listen to the chirping of Himalayan birds and stillness of
panchchuli peaks
(From day 1st to 6th)
As you arrive at Delhi, our representative will take you to the hotel where
you will check in. We will not let you discover the historical walled city
of Delhi as there will be plenty of Himalayan Places waiting for you to be
unfold. Soon, you will be taking a long drive to Pangot via Nainital which
will take you no less than 7 to 8 hours drive.
Afternoon, when you arrive at Pangot, you will have enough spare time to
take a tour of Pangot. Pangot is a small village, just 15 kilometers from
Nainital, and offers an excellent place for Birding. This village is still
untouched from the clamour of city life, and houses hundred of rare
Himalayan species of birds like Himalayan Griffon, Lammergeier, Blue Winged
Minla, Spotted and Slaty Forktail, Rufous Bellied Niltava and Woodpecker.
Your overnight stay will be at Jungle Lore Birding Lodge. This lodge is
quite famous for its natural ambience where you will have ardent feel of
being in the lap of Himalaya.
The next day (
2nd day), you will be on excursion to Nainital. The
full day visit to Nainital will let you gaze some fascinating view of
Himalayan beauty. This place is dotted with several lakes which makes it to
be lake district of India. The prettiest among the all lakes are Naini.
Being there will give you a bundle of recreational activities like Boating
and Horse riding. Visit to China peak or Naini peak gives a milky bright
view of snow laden Himalaya. After it, travelling on Cable Car will give you
an exquisite view of the city and the gorgeous beauty of Himalayan peaks.
After you have taken ample of glimpse of Himalayan exotic beauty, you will
move back to Jungle Lore Birding Lodge at Pangot.
The
3rd day of your tour will start with taking a drive to
Chaukori, which will take you approx 6 hours drive. Chaukori is a lesser
known small town situated in Pithoragarh district. The two thing that will
hold your breath, through its unique beauty, will be its panoramic
Panchchuli peaks, and the beautiful sunset view. Walking through tea
gardens, fruit orchard, and series of Pine and Oak trees will tie you with
its magical charm. Overnight, you will be staying at a beautiful cottage
giving you one of pleasantest sleep in the night.
Trekking, Angling and Jeep Safari- A complete set of
adventure
(from day 4th to 7th)
On the
4th day of your Himlayan tour, you will leave Chaukori for
Munsiyari by taking approx 6 hour drive. At Munsiyari, you will be staying
for three nights and two full days(
5th & 6th day), and you will
have bundle of time to fall in love with snow covered Panchchuli peaks. Some
of the pointed peaks looming over 20,000 feet gives you an exquisite view of
Kumaon Hills. Your overnight stay in Alpine tents will be another pleasant
experience giving you a lot of unforgettable memories to preserve in your
recollection box. We will be arranging bonfire for you, if you wish to stay
out of tent, and enjoy spending leisure with your companions.
The open top jeep safari expedition at Munsiyari will give you a complete
view of the panoramic Himalayan beauty. And the people, who loves angling
will have solid reason to cheer up as it will offer you some of the best
angling zone. On the bank of Ramganga and Gori Ganga river, you will have
plenteous opportunity to catch some fishes in your hook and line. And, if
you have got some adventurous guts, then, no other place will you find
better than Munsiyari. The valley of the Gori is trekking paradise which
gives a good food to adventurous appetite of trekkers. After you have spent
your pleasant 5th night being in the Alpine tent, the next night, you will
stay at Wayfarer Mountain Resort which we will book in advance.
After taking night stay at Wayfarer Mountain Resort, next morning (
7th
day) of your tour, you will be driving to Vijaypur. Driving from
Munsiyari to Vijaypur will take you 6-7 hours. Before you will reach at
Vijaypur, you will be visiting Jageshwar and Patal Bhubaneshwar which will
fall in your way. Jageshwar is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga in the country,
which is quite famous Hindu pilgrims. This place having more than 100
shrines is surrounded by beautiful vallyes. After Jageshwar, you will visit
to Patal Bhubaneshwar which has a very famous cave temple, said to be abode
of thirty three crore deities. You will take overnight stay at the cottage
of Wayfarer Retreat.
Relish the potpourri of Nature Tour and Tiger’s
growling
(From day 8th to day 11th)
Next Morning which will be
8th day, after you have taken breakfast,
you will be leaving for Ranikhet. To reach Ranikhet from Vijaypur, you will
take 6 hours. As you will be tired with the hectic schedule, the evening
will be a time for you to take rest or you can spend enjoying leisure like
clicking group photographs, trying some Indian foods, and meeting with the
local peoples. Your overnight stay will be at Trishul lodge, which we have
booked in advance.
The next day
(9th day), you will have full one day to visit
Ranikhet. Ranikhet is a small hill station, discovered by the Britishers who
setteled an army cantonment here. It lies 60 kilometers far from Nainital.
The excellent beauty and stillness of this foothills of Himalaya make it a
popular sought after destination to enjoy holidays. Here, you will be
visiting the colourful Bazaars, war museum, and the places where you can buy
several handicrafts items. And if, you are still hungry of some Himalayan
nature tour, our guide will be happy to accompany you to take a small bird
watching tour. Your overnight stay will be at the same Trishul lodge where
you spent your previous night.
Next morning(
10th day), you will be driving to Corbett. Reaching
Corbett after noon will give you a lot of time to visit the Corbett National
Park. Visiting the park in the evening will be a kind of nature walk as
strolling on the bank of Kosi along with discovering a large number of flora
and fauna will be very joyous and health giving to you. Your night stay will
be at a wildlife resort. It will be the last night of your tour which we
will try to make it more enjoyable and memorable. In the lawn, we will
arrange bonfire which will be a complete set of entertainment for you. While
sitting around bonfire, you will enjoy singing, dancing, taking wine, and
dinner with your spouse or companions.
Next morning, the
last day of your tour, you will be on full view
of the Corbett National Park. Corbett is the first national park of the
country, and it owns very ideal place to house Tigers and its prey. Taking
an open top Jeep Safari tour is one of the most convenient way to visit the
park. It will give you an a chance to meet with abundant of flora and fauna.
In the afternoon, you will take Elephant Safari. It is the most exotic and
Eco friendly way to tour the park. Elephant will enable you a tower view of
the forest, and you can watch and take snaps of animals like Tigers,
Elephant, Cheetal, Leopard, Sambhar, Wild dog, Wild boar, Barasingha, Deer,
and many others.
After you finish your rendezvous with Tigers and Leopards, you will be
leaving corbett for Delhi. Reaching to Delhi will take you 6 hour drive from
Corbett. At Delhi, after you check in the hotel, our representative will be
there to transfer you to the Delhi International Airport from where you will
take your onward journey.
