Climate condition : Usually Kullu has very pleasant climate, temperature ranging normally between 5º C to 20º C . In winters (December to February), temperature dips below zero, and heavy snowfalls become usual happening.

The rich natural beauty is heaven for adventure loving travellers as it let them fall deep into adventurous recreations like skiing, mountaineering, trekking, rafting and para gliding.

Places of Interests
Kohima : Abode to the main deity of the valley, Raghunathji temple is first on card of tourists.
Bijli Mahadev shrine : Reaching at the shrine takes one nothing but an arduous 10 km trek, which forms a great joy for trekkers.
Camping sight raison : Full of orchard, the valley is an ideal place for tourists in want of stark peacefulness. Log cabins of HPTDC make one's stay more comfortable there.
Naggar : Being the state capital of Kullu for hundreds of years, Naggar is indeed a place having great charm in its beautiful valley and slopes.
Manikaran : Famous for its hot springs, Manikaran is also a famous pilgrimage for both Hindus and Sikhs.
Larji & banjar : Located on the bank of rivers like Tirthan and Beas among the breathtaking natural view, Larji and banjar are best place inviting angler.

The green forests, Himalayan hills and gurgling rivers are originator of many adventurous sports like trekking, river rafting, mountaineering, skiing and para gliding. River like Tirthan and Beas constitute the best fishing terrain for anglers. Taking the 10 km trekking trail in order to Reach to Bijli Mahadev shrine forms the best trekking joy for trekkers.

In fact, Kullu can be summed as one of the most favourite among all the natural holiday spots of the country. The natural heritage and its unabated beauty of Kullu is mostly flocked by honeymooners from all over. Livening up the newly found romance of couples, natural charm of the plenteous orchard valley let them cherish together some of the most memorable moments.

As the state is inhabited by 16 Naga tribes and four non-Naga tribes living mostly in villages, each of them has their own festivals. Witnessing the diverse colour of their tradition, culture and lifestyle while being at Nagaland is one of the most striking activities that will fascinate an avid tourist.

Reaching There
By Air : Kullu- Manali airport is just 10 km away from Kullu. The airport has regular flights for Delhi, Chandigarh and Shimla.

By Rail : Joginder Nagar (120 km) having meter gouge track is the nearest railway station.

By Road : The total distance from Delhi to Kullu by road is approx 570 km. Kullu is on National Highway 21, which can be reached via Chandigarh (312 km) and Mandi (70 km).
