famous for housing the rare Asiatic Lions along with its unique flora and
fauna will give you a rich view of Indian Wildlife.

Detailed Itinerary
You will set foot at Gir in noon (
1st day) after driving from
Keshod airport which is 90 Km from Gir. The wildlife view of the park will
come after you have taken your lunch and plenty of rest. A small visit to
the park in the evening will open a different world for you. Taking a Jeep
safari and having the complete overview of amazing wildlife in the park will
fetch you a golden chance to see the rare Asiatic Lion. The world famous
Lion Sanctuary of the park houses hundreds of Lions which is found no where
else in so much number.
The small visit of the park will come in its full circle next morning. The
next day (
2nd day) will start with getting up early in the morning
and setting out to take Elephant safari. Early morning ride while sitting on
the back of Elephant strolling in the park will bring a pack of fascination.
The Wildlife Park and Lion Sanctuary spread over 1400 sq Km presents a very
beautiful picturesque of rich flora and fauna. Having more than 300 Lions
and 300 Leopards, this park boasts of being the largest Big-Cat
concentration. In few hours Elephant ride, you will have easier approach to
click photographs of animals like Lion, Leopard, Sambar, Cheetal, Nilgai,
Chausingha, Chinkara, Jackal, and Striped Hyena.
The later part of day will bring activities of Bird watching. The wildlife
park has several regular and perennial river and lakes that hoard many
species of birds. The biggest is Kamleshwar dam that houses plenty of
Crocodile. Species of birds going over 250 in number include species like
Painted sandgrouse, Grey francolin, Quails, Asian paradise flycatcher,
Black-naped monarch, White-browed fantail, Asian brown flycatcher,
Grey-headed flycatcher, Verditer flycatcher, Tickell's blue flycatcher,
Greenish warbler, White-eye, Coppersmith Barbet, Common and Marshal's iora
and Rufous treepie.
After you return from the park, we will endeavour to make your evening full
of great fun. We will arrange bonfire and barbecue giving you some great
time to enjoy with your companions. Again the next morning, the last day of
your weekend getaway trips, you will take Elephant safari to the park and
will have pleasant walk through the park. The lush surrounding of evergreen
forest and encounter with Lions, Leopards and other numerous animals will
give you a great change and fun as well to start your week with complete
energised spirit. Afternoon (
3rd day), you will be transferred to
the airport by us to catch your flight for your onward destination.
