Detailed Itinerary
So daredevils, are you ready to take off the adventurous outdoor trekking
shudder? Well.The first two day of your trekking tour, you will indulge in
adjusting yourself to the Himalayan snow covered surroundings. From Leh on
the 1st day, you will be driving to Hemis where you will stay for almost two
day (
1st and 2nd day). The sightseeing tour of Hemis will include
visit to its one of the important monasteries lying in the South Hemis.
Leaving Hemis on
3rd day, you will drive to Sumdo where from you
will start your trekking expedition and will reach to Chogdo. The two hour
trekking will be full of fun and thrill as well. For first time trekkers,
overnight stay at the tent will yield an amazing experience. Next day,
4th
day will let you go through approx 3 hour’s trekking from Chogdo
taking you to the base of Kongmaru.
From 5th day to 10th day, you
will be having daily trekking tour of average 4-5 hours. The places that you
will be trekking through will be Nimalinga, Langtang Chu, Zalung Karpo La,
Sorra, Dat, Yar La, Lungmo Che and Lun.The trekking expedition will ope for
you a unique experience of exploring the amazing snow capped landscapes of
Himalaya.
After more than one week trekking, you must be looking for time to rest and
relax.
Day 11th, we have reserved for the rest which you can lie
relaxing in the tent, or you can roam through the valley taking some
snapshots of Himalaya and its diverse peaks. Next day,
12th day will
be the last day of your trekking expedition which you will trek for reaching
to Marang La Camp. Reaching to Marang La Camp will lead you to trek through
narrow and beautiful highland. You will be staying overnight here in the
tent a bit far from the army camp.
Next day (
13th day), you will reach to Takh after taking the
Leh-Manali route. There, you will be picked by our jeep waiting for you. By
the evening, you will reach to Manali. Overnight stay at luxury resort will
comfort you greatly as you have been craving to get a roof above you. 2 day
stay at the beautiful hill station of Manali (
14th and 15th day)
will give you a feel of touring to Switzerland. Situated in the north end of
Kullu Valley, Manali will let you explore its several important sightseeing
places like Hadimba Temple, Gadhan Thekchoking Gompa,Temple of Manu,Rohtang
Pass,Tibetan Temple, and Arjun Gufa.
The next and last destination of your tour will be the national capital of
India, Delhi. Two day stay (
16th and 17th day) here will give you a
change which you have been looking for after your one week of trekking tour.
The tour to Delhi will give you an insight of Old and New Delhi blending
together. Visit to its several historical monuments such as Qutab Minar,
Humayun's Tomb, Red Fort and Jama Masjid will keep you in thick admiration
of Indian architectural beauty. The second last day, 17th day, you will be
roaming through the other important places like Raj ghat, India gate,
Parliament, President House and Lotus Temple. In the evening you can shop
around the streets of Cannaught Place.
On the last day (
18th day), you will be transferred to the
International airport where you will catch up your flight taking you to
onward destination.
