Detailed Itinerary
As soon as you arrive at Delhi (on
1st day) through International
flight, you will catch a domestic flight for Bagdogra. From Bagdogra, you
will be driving to Darjeeling. Darjeelinga, the queen of all hill stations
with its amazing beauty of Himalaya and its greenery will keep you enchanted
while you explore some of the most popular spots of this hill station. Early
in the morning (
2nd day), being at the Tiger Hill to get sunrise
view and getting photographs clicked against the backdrop of Kanchenjunga
will be a great pleasure. Other spots you visit here will be Botanical
Garden, Observatory Hill, Zoological Garden, Senchal Lake, and Dali and
Ghoom Monastery.
3rd day, in the morning, after leaving Darjeeling, you will move to
Sikkim and will drive to Pemayangtse. En route, you will pass through the
profuse green plantation of Tea and Coffee. The pleasing aroma of Tea and
Coffee fields will be worth refreshing you. Being at Pemayangtse, you will
watch two of the popular places of Sikkim, Pemayangtse Monastery and
Khechepalri (wish-fulfilling) Lake. After overnight stay at small Sikkimese
modelled resort at Pemayangtse, you will move to Yuksom next day (
4th
day). Yuksom among all other trekking spots of Sikkim is the best place to
take off the Trekking expedition.
The 8 days Trekking expedition (from day
5th to
12th day)
begins on the 5th day from Yuksom. The 8 days Trekking expedition in the
Rhododendron country will let you climb through the numerous peaks making
you see the unique beauty of many lakes, flower’s valleys and green
forests. The extensive Trekking sojourn will let you ascend to the places
like Tshoka, Phedang, Dzongri, Samiti, Goechela, and Thangsing. Besides,
trekking in the rhododendron country will be full of natural activities like
amazing Himalayan sightseeing, Bird watching, exploring flower’s
valleys, and Camping. Ascending to the several hills will give you a very
close view of the massive Mount Kangchendzonga.
In the morning of
13th day, you will drive to Martem after
finishing your Trekking tour at Yuksom where you had begun Trekking. The
next two days,
13th and
14th, you will stay at Martem, and
will explore its beautiful Cardamom fields. Plus, the world famous Rumtek
Monastery and quiet gardens of Martem will be your highlighted schedule. The
last two days of your tour (
15th and
16th day), you will
stay and visit the capital of Sikkim, Gantaok. One of the most beautiful
holiday spots of India, Gantok attracts people from all over to enjoy the
Eco vacation. The two day sightseeing tour of pleasant town of Sikkim will
make you see all of its popular spots like Do-Drul Chorten (Stupa), Deer
Park, Permanent Flower Show, Enchey Monestry, White Hall, Ridge Park, Tashi
Point View, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, and Himalayan Zoological Park.
The
17th day will bring an end to your tour when you will leave
Gangtok and will drive to Bagdogra. After taking a domestic flight from
Bagdogra, you will reach to Delhi where you will board your onward flight to
your home.
