Detailed Itinerary
Set in the lap of Western Ghat’s lap, Thenmala is surrounded by dense
greenery of forest area. Reaching here in the morning (
1st day)
after taking a bit more than one hour drive from Trivandrum, you will soon
get into this Eco destination. Taking Boat Ride for an hour will be a better
way to begin your Eco tour with. Later, you will visit to the adventure zone
where there will be a heap of fun and recreation awaiting you. You will be
enjoying several adventurous activities like River crossing, Rock climbing
and Mountain biking. The evening you will spend in leisure zone where
musical dancing fountain will enchant you greatly.
The more adventure set forth on the
2nd day when you will be on
full day Trekking tour. Organised by National Adventure Foundation, the
Trekking tour will let you climb through many of the hills. To give
beginners a good hold, our Trekking experts will be there willing to impart
many of his Trekking learning. Trekking through the beautiful hills of
Thenmala, you will love challenges piling before you and being conquerred.
Like the earlier two day (1st and 2nd day), the
day 3rd will also
cater you a large pack of Eco activities. You will visit to the Achancoil
Eco-contact Center where you will see the Khumbhavurutty waterfalls. Being
amidst the rich natural ladscape, you will be having a fine excursion. This
place is worth to be along with your family and friends as this place is a
favourite picnic spot.
Sharp in the next morning (
4th day), you will take a visit to Deer
Rehabilitation Center. Offering you a very good chance of Bird Watching, you
can even try out your Photography skills here as the pre-sunrise moment will
form the best time for taking snaps. In afternoon, you will visit to a local
village. An insight of local village and its dweller’s lifestyle will
make you know well the village life of India.
The Eco tour of Thenmala will end after you return back to forest resort.
In the evening, we will be driving back to Trivendrum to let you catch your
scheduled flight taking you forth to your destination.
