Ladakh, the “land of high passes” is famous for its barren mountainous regions and distinct culture. This region is bounded by two of the world's mightiest mountain ranges namely Great Himalayas and Karakorom. Climatic conditions of Ladakh is very distinct from rest of the country. One peculiar thing about Ladakh is that a man sitting in the sun with his feet in the shade can suffer from both sunstroke and frostbite at the same time . Most of the inhabitant of this region are Tibetan Buddhist and Shia muslim. This peculiar climatic condition and less of vegetation has provided an unique touch to the people's lifestyle. And if you want to explore all these things than its must to visit Ladakh at least for once.

Detailed Itinerary
(From 1st day to 4th day)
Our Ladakh tour will start from Delhi. At first our representatives will meet you at Delhi airport. Here you will be greeted with garlands and tilak. Thereafter, they will escort you to the

hotel of your choice for an overnight stay. Early next morning(2nd day) you have to pack your luggage for Leh, biggest town of Ladakh. You have to board the flight for Leh from Delhi's domestic airport. On reaching, Leh resort to the hotel and have some refreshments. Spend the whole day in resting to acclimatize with the climate of Ladakh as it is situated at an altitude of 9000ft to 25,170 ft. In the evening, we will take you to the exotic Leh bazzar. When you visit this bazaar you will get to see the true picture of day-to-day life of this region. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

On day 3rd we will take you to the sightseeing tour of Leh. At first, we will visit the famous Stok palace and museum. While returning to the hotel for lunch, we will take a short halt at Tibetan Refugee Camp at Choglamasar. Again in the afternoon we will restart our sightseeing activity. We will visit the King's Palace and Tsemo Gompa. In the evening return to the Leh hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. On 4th day of the tour, enjoy an early morning visit to the renowned Thiksey Monastery to witness the world famous praying ceremony of this monastery. Afterwards, we will take you to the famous Hemis Monastery and the Shey Palace. Come back to the hotel for dinner and night stay.

(From day 5th to 9th )
On 5th day after breakfast, we will drive to Chumathang and take a small halt at Upshi for passport checking. The major attraction of Chumathang are its hot springs with medicinal properties. People from far places comes here to take medicinal baths. If you want you can also experience it. From here we will move to the famous Chumathang Monastery and drive on to the Maha Bridge, the most important checkpoint to enter into this new region. The journey of rough and barren roads starts from here. We will take a short halt at Sumdah village, one of the remotest village of this region. Thereafter, we will restart our drive of another 55 km to reach Tso Moriri Lake. Tso Moriri is a beautiful pearl shape village with a pristine lake. On arriving at Tso Moriri, check into the camp. Enjoy the overnight stay at the camp which is built on the bank of the tranquil Tso Moriri lake.

Next morning i.e on 6th day after a light breakfast at the camp visit Korzok village and its Gompa. It seems to be a mirage. Afternoon take out some time to visit around the Lake. Again return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay. On 7th day, we will drive to the world-famous Puga Lake Valley and also visit Mahe village. It is a beautiful village which provides an awesome view of the shooting fountains and white clouds hanging upon. Puga valley is famous for the Butane gas, which hangs above like white clouds.

From here we will drive to Tsokar via Polokongka Pass situated at a height of 13,500 ft. After taking some rest at Tsokar Lake, we will proceed towards Thugke Gompa. The beautiful Tsokar Lake is situated 45 km northwest of the Tso Moriri Lake. The region is popular as an abode of Wild Asses. After exploring this picturesque region, a short drive from here will take us to the Leh - Manali National Highway route. We will reach Leh via the Tanglang La Pass (5,350m), which is the second highest motorable pass in the world. On arriving Leh , check-in to the hotel for dinner and night stay. Next morning(8th day) after a light breakfast explore the Spituk, famous as trekking region and Phyang Monastery. Afternoon visit the Shanker Gompa. Come back to the hotel for dinner and night stay.

On last day of our Ladakh tour, after breakfast get ready to transfer to the Leh airport to board on flight for Delhi.

Day 7 : In Leh
Morning a half-day excursion to Spituk and Phyang Monastery. Afternoon visit the Shanker Gompa. Overnight at hotel.
