airport is Bangalore International Airport (220 km), which is connected to
Nagarhole by road via Mysore, and takes approx 4-5 hours to reach. The
nearest railway station is Mysore (80 km) which has appropriate bus as well
as taxi service to Nagarhole. With prior information, one can even avail cab
facility provided by the resort.
Facilities
The colonial style of accommodation facilities of Kabini River tourist
lodge intend to make guests enjoy their privacy and warm hospitality. Three
kinds of accommodation- Colonial style, Riverside and Tented cottages are
available in the resort. The colonial styled building similes Maharaja and
Viceroy buildings and has 2 blocks, each having 7 twin bedded rooms. The
riverside accomodation has 6 twin bedded cottages facing the Kabini river,
and have attached toilet and open space. Moreover, there are 5 tents which
overlook river Kabini, and have all modern amenities attached with them.
The common facilities which guests are privileged to avail at Kabini River
Lodge are 24 hours power back up, same day laundry service, library, first
aid, STD and ISD calls facility and round the clock security, Internet, TV
and money changer. The restaurant of the resort serves Indian, Continental
and Chinese cuisine around the camp fire, making one’s eating
